Coffee…

tempImageRyAxaa.png

COMING SOON!

For me, coffee is about much more than a drip machine in the kitchen. Don’t get me wrong… there is nothing wrong with drip machines, drip coffee or any other convenient and fast way to get a cup of that liquid gold down your gullet.

Sign up with your email address to receive news and updates about all things Romero Pictures including updates, release dates and links to get your own George C. Romero coffee roast.

We respect your privacy and will NEVER sell your information. Period. We HATE junk email so much and are committed to never sending it. If you get an email from us… there’s probably something really cool in it.

Thank you! We’ll let you know as soon as you can get your hands on our beans! Check out some of our other cool merch!

BUT…

Have you ever sat down for deep dive google rabbit hole and learned about the process that goes into getting that coffee from plant to pot? If you haven’t, I highly suggest you start there.

See… it’s the process…

Like most things worth doing well, right or otherwise, there is a process involved. I do a lot of cooking and woodworking and they are both just piled high with process. But the process of coffee… now THAT is something spectacular. No matter how you boil it down, at the end of the day your coffee results are a result of coffee beans and water… period. The success of any given cup or pot of coffee comes down to one thing. The prowess of the person at the helm.

When I make a pour over in my Chemed, it is 7 minutes of my day dedicated to that and that alone. An AeroPress? 5 minutes. A French Press? About 4.5 minutes, etc…

And then there is the grind, the technique and presentation.

Of Course…

… none of this would happen without the roast. The carefully selected beans, the time spent in trial and error while you learn the bean’s strong points, weak points, it’s reaction to the roasting process, etc…

This Process…

…is pure, personal and unbelievably inspiring with regard to my creative process, in general.

I hope you enjoy this roast that I have worked hard with Dead Sled Coffee to bring to you. It is one of the many physical embodiments of my own inner creativity.
